At Appin Security and Electrical Services we are fully equipped for all types of electrical inspections.
We carry out our inspections to the guidelines set out by the Electro-Technical council of Ireland.(ETCI)
This would consist of a visual inspection of cabling, fuse rating and, mechanical protection,separation of circuits, identity of circuits, IP ratings, earthing system, position of switches and sockets etc. Observations of compliance with standards would be recorded.All circuits would be tested and readings recorded.
On completion of a report the client would be provided with a comprehensive list of faults, observations and recommendations. All proposed work would be graded by number as follows.
1:Requires urgent attention.
2:Requires improvement.
3:Requires some attention.
4:Does not comply with the current national rules for electrical installations.
Along with the report I would give you estimates for all proposed work broken down to the individual jobs.
Having a periodic inspection carried out by a competent electrician is the best way to avoid unnecessary call-outs and to ensure your premises is up to standard. Overloaded wiring and loose connections can go undetected, but can have disastrous results.
